This privacy policy applies to Keeplet, a screenshot and document management app for iOS/iPadOS developed and published by M Visuals Apps. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how Keeplet handles your information and how your data is protected.
Information We Collect
None. Keeplet does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
Data Storage
The data handled by Keeplet is as follows. All data is stored on your device and is never sent to external servers.
- Images and PDF files: Device only (local storage)
- Thumbnails: Device only (local storage)
- Item information (metadata): Device, or iCloud (*)
- Tag information: Device, or iCloud (*)
- OCR text: Device, or iCloud (*)
- App settings: Device only
* If you are using the Premium plan, metadata, tags, and OCR text are synced across your devices through Apple's iCloud. Actual files such as images and PDFs are not stored in iCloud and are always kept locally on your device only. iCloud sync is end-to-end encrypted in accordance with Apple's security standards.
Permissions
Keeplet may request the following system permissions:
- Camera (optional): Used to scan documents and whiteboards directly. Captured images are stored only on your device.
- Photo Library (optional): Used to import screenshots and images from your photo library.
- Face ID / Touch ID (optional): Used to enable the app lock feature. Biometric data is not accessed by the app and is processed through Apple's security framework.
These permissions are used solely for app functionality. No data obtained through these permissions is transmitted, shared, or stored outside of your device.
Third-Party Services
Keeplet uses only Apple's standard frameworks (iCloud, Vision). We do not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking tools.
Children's Privacy
Keeplet does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because we collect zero data, Keeplet is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by design.
