Introduction

This privacy policy applies to QuickVlog, a Vlog camera app for iOS developed and published by M Visuals Apps. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how QuickVlog handles your information and how your data is protected.

Information We Collect

QuickVlog collects anonymous usage data to improve app quality. We collect only anonymous behavioral events — recording started/completed, export succeeded/failed, recipe selected, and Paywall shown/purchase actions. No user content (video, clips, audio) or personally identifiable information (name, email, location, etc.) is collected. Advertising identifiers (IDFA) are not used. We use a randomly generated UUID (App User ID) stored in the device Keychain as an identifier. This UUID is not linked to any personal information. No account registration is required.

Data Storage

All video and clip data generated by QuickVlog is stored locally on your device. There is no cloud synchronization, no server communication, and no remote data storage. Your videos and clips never leave your device. Anonymous behavioral events are sent to PostHog (USA), and purchase state information is transmitted to RevenueCat (USA). Permissions

QuickVlog requests the following iOS system permissions, used only for required features:

• Camera (required): Used to record video and create your Vlog. Recorded video is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally.
• Microphone (required): Used to record audio with your video. Recorded audio is stored only on your device.
• Photo Library — write only (required): Used to save your finished Vlog to your camera roll. No read access to your photo library is requested.

These permissions are used solely for app functionality. No data obtained through these permissions is transmitted, shared, or stored outside of your device.

In-App Purchases

QuickVlog offers an in-app purchase (one-time Pro plan). All payment processing is handled through Apple's App Store. M Visuals Apps never directly receives payment or credit card information. Purchase state management uses RevenueCat (see next section), where only anonymous IDs and purchase history are transmitted. Video and clip data are never transmitted to RevenueCat or any other party.

Third-Party Services

QuickVlog uses the following third-party services:

• PostHog (PostHog, Inc. / USA, data hosted at: https://us.i.posthog.com): Collects anonymous behavioral events (recording start, export success, recipe selection, Paywall shown, etc.) to improve app quality. No personally identifiable information, video data, or advertising identifiers (IDFA) are transmitted. Person profile creation (personProfiles) is disabled.
• RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc. / USA): Used to manage in-app purchase state (one-time Pro plan). Only an anonymous App User ID (generated per device, not linked to any personal identifier) and purchase history are sent. Video and clip data are never sent.
• Apple Standard Frameworks (AVFoundation, StoreKit, SwiftData): Provide core app functionality.

These third-party services are used solely for limited purposes — anonymous analytics (PostHog) and in-app purchase management (RevenueCat). We do not integrate any advertising networks, crash-reporting SDKs, or behavioral tracking tools that use advertising identifiers.

Children's Privacy

QuickVlog is not directed to children under the age of 13. M Visuals Apps does not collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
